Experience a piece of military history with the ICM 1/35 scale model of the WW I US Army Standard B "Liberty" truck. This finely crafted model captures the essence of the first official standardized motor vehicle produced by the US Military.
[Adapted from ICM]
The U.S. Liberty trucks, emerging at the twilight of the First World War, marked the world's first endeavor to establish a standardized fleet of military vehicles. These vehicles, notably the category B (series 1) trucks with a 3-ton capacity, were a collaborative effort, produced serially by fifteen American companies. Characterized by their hooded design and open cab, these trucks were powered by a 4-cylinder engine and featured a Cardan shaft for the rear axle, worm gear, and cast tires. By the war's end, 9,452 Liberty trucks had been assembled, with 7,600 making their way to Europe, making them a significant piece of military history.
